CollegeCommunityCareer

Last year we connected two seniors to CollegeCommunityCareer, an incredible college preparatory program based in Houston whose mission “fosters a college-going culture with low-income, first-generation high school students and families to create and build equity in education”. They prepare students for admission to and graduation from a four-year university; they follow students for 7 years total, from 10th grade all the way to college graduation. This fall we have 7 Marfa seniors who are participating in their program again. CCC meets with our students for a weekly virtual meeting where they are helping our students through the process of applying for college, scholarships, and financial aid. We are so grateful for CCC and all that they do to support our students!
