2023 Career Fair at MISD
Alamito Foundation career fair introduced students to a variety of occupations and allowed them to choose their own schedule for the day, attending the presentations that most interested them. Representatives from the Marfa Police Department, US Border Patrol, American Electric Power (AEP), The Big Bend Sentinel, Presidio County, as well as welders, nurses, teachers, and other entrepreneurs gave presentations and engaged with students. During the whole group session with Alamito Foundation, the students considered 8 vision questions for their lives and took the Myers Briggs Personality Test. It was a successful day of exploring various careers and casting vision for students' futures.
