Summer 2022 College Tour

This summer Marfa Juniors and Seniors took to the road to South Texas to visit some more colleges in Texas. We started the tour by visiting Texas A&M Corpus Christi - a campus we all fell in love with! We spent the evening at the beach; for some it was their first time visiting the ocean. Next, we visited Texas A&M Kingsville and UT-Rio Grande Valley. We wrapped up our tour in San Antonio by visiting UTSA, Texas A&M SA, and meeting Mark Colaw. Mark is starting a pilot program this fall where 5 Marfa guys will attend South Career Institute in San Antonio to receive Auto-mechanic certifications. On the trip we shared stories with each other and did some self exploration by taking personality and strength tests. All in all, the trip was a blast! We can’t wait for the next Alamito College Tour.
